Carl Luppens, a cattle and horse ranch owner and operator, has earned a reputation for exceptional customer satisfaction throughout a career spanning more than 30 years in real estate brokerage, investments, and law. His background in livestock operations, wildlife management, habitat improvement, agriculture, conservation easements, land assemblies and government agency interactions - combined with land development experience and knowledge of real estate and water law - allows him to obtain optimal results for his clients.
Early in his career, Carl practiced real estate law with a large national law firm and, over the next 30 years, successfully brokered more than a billion dollars in commercial real estate transactions, including the largest single property sale in the Rocky Mountain region of $235 million. He has provided sound investment counsel to some of the most experienced and demanding real estate operators and investors, finding ideal acquisition opportunities for buyer clients and achieving record high prices for seller clients. His institutional clients include national banks, large insurance companies, law firms, accounting firms, engineering firms and telecommunications companies - Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Prudential, Travelers, Hogan & Hartson, LeBouef Lamb, Ernst & Young, Black & Veatch and AT&T, among others.
Carl was a founder and past president of the University of Colorado Real Estate Council and was named Colorado Real Estate Professional of the Year in 1995. He is active in raising and training ranch horses, team roping, hunting and fly-fishing and pursues outdoor activities including skiing, snowmobiling, cycling, and mountaineering.
