Double D Ranch

Located in the panhandle of western Nebraska, this 15,000 acre ranch is one of the more efficient operations in the west. The site of several skirmishes between the Sioux Indians and the US Calvary including the battle of Blue Creek. North half of the ranch is in the southern edge of the sand hills providing great summer pasture. The south end of the ranch is on 4 plus miles of Blue Creek with rolling terrain, wetlands and bluff canyons providing ideal winter protection. Ranch has been running 650 pair with weaning weights averaging 500 pounds. Excellent wildlife in the area and only 20 miles from Lake McConaughy.
