Known for his creative marketing campaigns, Billy’s love of the land started early while growing up on a third generation cattle ranch in Northwestern Kansas before his family moved to Colorado. “All I ever wanted to be was a Cowboy. I feel extremely fortunate having grown up on a ranch and being exposed to the western values that have endured all my life.” A former professional skier and active in rodeo and ranching, Billy has an intimate knowledge of the west and the western lifestyle. Currently commuting between a small ranch in Southern CA and longtime residence in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, he is enjoying sharing his love of Ranching and Skiing with his wife and three sons.
Billy brings a wealth of experience marketing exclusively farm and ranch properties and has developed a well-regarded reputation in the brokerage community over the last 30 years. He began his real estate career in Beverly Hills, as Director of Ranches for an entertainment based real estate firm where he was exposed to creative marketing techniques and an early adapter to the internet. He later formed Mason & Morse Ranch Company in Aspen, Colorado before co-founding Ranch Marketing Associates in 2004. Billy represents Buyers and Sellers primarily in the Western US through his network of Brokers. He is currently the managing broker of RMA and licensed in WY, CO and CA.
